Treetop Adventure Golf, Cardiff – Review #AD

Treetop Adventure Golf – We received 1 course of mini golf, pizza and drinks in exchange for an honest review #AD

Yesterday (31/08/21) the Welsh Mummy Blogs family had an amazing time at Treetop Adventure golf in Cardiff.

Located on level P3, St David’s 2 Centre, Cardiff, the Treetop Adventure Golf has been entertaining the young and old for over 5 years! This was our first visit and I really didn’t know what to expect.

As we left the elevator on P3, our eyes were met with jungle themed fun. We were met by a lovely lady who got us to use the track and trace Covid QR code, the lady then explained to us that they are going to extra measures to ensure that everyone is safe.

Covid safety measures
There are hand sanitising stations located throughout the venue.
Golf balls and clubs are sanitised after use and are not to be shared. We each had our own golf ball and club to use.
Social distancing was in place with markers on the floor.

Once signed in we reserved a table in the bar and café area. I then used one of the many lockers available to store our bags and coats. Each locker is £1 which you get back once you have finished.

As we arrived around lunch, we decided to eat before our game. The café is colourfully decorated in a jungle theme with lots of fun props displayed around and above the place.

The café offers a wide range of soft drinks, mocktails, beers, wine and ciders. They also serve sweet treats and a fantastic range of pizzas including gluten free and vegan options.

My youngest has coeliac disease so it was really nice to see a gluten free option.

A man came over to take our order, I explained that my son has coeliac disease. This was not a problem, the cook would clean the area beforehand and cook the gluten free pizza first.

To be honest, this was the best service I’ve ever received in terms of gluten free and I would happily go back just for the pizza.

Our pizzas arrived, they were huge and delicious. At only £5.75 a pizza, this is great value for money as you could share one easily.

After our food we got ready to play mini golf. There are two indoor, 18-hole mini-golf courses. The Tropical Trail and Ancient Explorer, there is also a bonus 19th hole where you could win a free round.

Golf rules
There’s a 6-shot limit per hole.
Golfing groups should be 4 or less.
No sharing clubs.
Move onto the next hole as soon as you have finished.

We took on the Ancient Explorer course where we were welcomed to the Cloud Village by The Sacred Mask and Chief Slumber. The boys found this course fascinating. It was filled with interactive holes that made us laugh, it really was a magical, especially when we got to the mystic river.

We weren’t the best players but we had lots of fun trying.

On the 19th bonus hole my youngest won a free game!

We had a brilliant afternoon, I highly recommend Treetop Adventure Golf. We are already planning on going back to take on The Tropical Trail.
